We met at film school, where the question was never what to film but why — what makes a story move, what makes an image stay. That instinct has been at the centre of everything Suteren has made since.
While still at school, a spontaneous freelance order brought us together over a real-world project for the first time. Word of mouth spread and we kept getting work. By 2018 Suteren was official, and over the years that followed we grew into a trusted production partner for Macedonia's leading agencies and brands.
With time, we realised that production, even when done well, will only take a client so far. The conversations we were having kept returning to the same gap: they needed a partner who could plan with them before the camera was ever switched on.
This is why in 2024 we reshaped Suteren into a full-service agency. Ana had just returned from London, where she completed an MFA in Directing Fiction at Goldsmiths, University of London. Branko had spent the year deepening his practice in post-production, mostly colour grading.
